We’re suckers for ANYTHING that gets people to write, draw, sketch, doodle, notate.
That’s why we LOVE, and look forward to with antici…..pation, the Sketchbook Project.

The Sketchbook Project was created by Art House, an independent Brooklyn-based company that organizes
global, collaborative art projects. One of those being…THE SKETCHBOOK PROJECT, a traveling road show
of handmade books designed, drawn and masterminded by awesome people like yourself (if you choose to do it)!

Here’s how it works: for $25 and some personal data, a custom-designed sketchbook
created with TLC by Portland, Oregon’s Pinball Publishing will be mailed to you.
Fill your journal with whatevs your heart desires. Here’s a list of topics they suggest:

After you’ve completed your masterpiece, mail it back. Once they receive it,
your sketchbook will start a journey across the U.S., stopping at various outposts
where others can enjoy your doodlings and canoodlings. Here’s the tour road map:

Once the tour is complete, your sketchbook joins all the other illustrious 2013 entries
in its new home at the Brooklyn Art Library where you can visit it often.
